Do you like spending time in nature?
I do. I always feel more at peace when I am able to take a walk outside and really observe nature. Be in the present moment. Are you in the present moment when you are walking or running? Or are you listening to music or talking on your cell. Your time outside is better spent when you are in the present moment. It is actually a form of mindfulness. When you really pay attention to your surroundings, all your problems seem to melt away. You are just in that moment. Another way you can practice mindfulness when you are active is to pay attention to your breath. Is it fast or slow? Deep or shallow? Breathing through your nose actually is better than breathing through your mouth. You can actually walk or run longer when you do this. Are you being mindful when you are active? If so, does it make for a better run or walk. Comment below.
